I found something this morning that is bothering me, and I would like to know if anyone has gone through the same thing. My 2018 Nissan X-Trail started cranking slowly last week, so I took the battery out of the glove box paperwork pile, I mean I looked for the papers, and found the warranty card from when I changed it about fourteen months ago. The card has the date written by hand, but there is no shop stamp, and the car number is missing. The shop is in a different emirate from where I live now, because I bought it while visiting my sister, and I do not know if they will even remember me. My brother says a receipt is enough and that the card is only decoration. My friend says without the stamp and the plate number, shops love to say the warranty is not valid, especially if the battery fails near the end of the period. A colleague told me to take clear photos of everything first, including the label on the battery and the date code, before I go anywhere. I read a page on a while ago while choosing the battery, and it mentioned warranty and service life as reasons people trust certain brands here, so I want to believe the claim will go smoothly, but now I am not sure. I was also thinking about the Best reasons Dubai drivers prefer Amaron batteries, because I always thought an easy warranty was one of them, and I would like to hear if that is true for you in real life. My questions are easy. Do I need the original receipt as well as the card, or is one enough? Can a branch in another city still help me if I bought it somewhere else? Will they test the battery first before agreeing it is faulty, and how long does that take? And is it normal to get a replacement the same day, or do they ask you to leave the car? Please share what happened when you used a warranty. Thanks for reading.
