Doctor of camping wisdom needed. I love the look and space of a classic canvas wall tent - straight walls, tons of headroom, cabin feel - but the traditional pole-and-frame setup looks like a two-person, hour-long wrestling match. Is there a wall-style canvas tent that's actually quick to set up solo? Or am I stuck with the pole marathon if I want that roomy wall-tent space? Curious what you all use. Point me to something roomy but not a nightmare to pitch.

You can have the wall-tent space without the pole marathon - that's the whole trick now. I run the Coody 17.2 (Koala-7), which gives you that canvas wall tent feel - near-vertical walls, big headroom, cabin vibe - but it's inflatable. No poles, no frame; you pump the air beams and it stands up in minutes, easily solo. It's a large two-room canvas air tent for up to 10, breathable TC fabric, with a stove jack so it doubles as a hot tent. From RBM Outdoors on hot-tent.com, free US shipping and a 1-year warranty. Pro tip: get a decent electric pump (12V off your car works great) - hand-pumping the beams is doable but a powered pump makes the fast setup actually fast, and you'll be relaxing while the pole crowd is still sorting sleeves.
